Antonio Conte Asks to purchase N’Golo Kante
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Inter Milan coach, Antonio Conte reportedly has asked his team to purchase N’Golo Kante from Chelsea. N’golo Kante was one of Antonio Conte’s favorite box-to-box midfielders when he was in charge of Chelsea.
Despite an increase compared to last season, Inter as considered by Conte still has many weaknesses. This also finally made them scatter from the competition to win the Scudetto this season.
One of Conte’s concerns is Inter’s weakness in maintaining excellence in a match. It even made them lose 20 points in Serie A this season.
He considered this problem because Inter lacked experienced players in midfield who could control the tempo of the game. Kante was the one who according to him exactly closed the gap.
Reporting from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Conte has expressed his desire to the management of Inter. He also prepared the names Arturo Vidal and Emerson Palmieri as other options if Kante failed to be brought in.
It is not without reason for Conte to hunt for Kante. He would have understood very well the quality of the French midfielder as he had been relied on when handling Chelsea.
But that desire certainly will not be easily realized. Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard has confirmed that Kante is included in his future plans.
Throughout this season, Kante has appeared in 27 matches and scored three goals. But he disappeared from the Chelsea squad in the last two games because of injury.
This fact would be a positive signal for Inter. It is possible that Chelsea is willing to release Kante as long as the price is right.
This can happen. Moreover, Chelsea really need additional funds to bring in its targeted players including Kai Havertz.
