By db-admin
DBasia.news – Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte said his desire for The Nerazzurri to follow in the footsteps of their rival, Juventus.
Inter Milan showed mounting up charts in the early season of Antonio Conte. Inter made sure of qualifying for the Champions League with four matches remaining.
“I think qualifying for the Champions League is important for a team like Inter Milan. Since the start of the season, we are in the top four in the table. I think this is where clubs with prestige like Inter Milan must be,” Conte told Inter TV.
“We achieved that with four games that have not been played. I think that is one of the demands of the club and trying to improve quality compared to last season.”
“We want to try to be more consistent. The aim is to get results that are more stress free than the previous season. I think we have achieved that goal,” Conte added.
Antonio Conte views, Serie A will be more competitive next season. He did not deny that Juventus are still the strongest team in Italy.
“It is true to see Juventus who have dominated Italy in nine years. They are still the best at the moment. We must look our best if we want to improve. That is no doubt,” said Conte.
Inter Milan will host Fiorentina in their 35th Serie A match 2019-2020, at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Thursday (7/23). The Nerazzurri will return to the top four if they win.
