Argentina Failed to Beat Chile

DBasia.news –  Argentina failed to win against Chile at the United Airlines Field Stadium, Los Angeles, United States. Argentina was only able to play a goalless draw.

Both teams started the match with a moderate tempo. During the first 20 minutes there were no dangerous opportunities created by the two countries.

Kicks leading to the first goal was only created at the remaining 5 minutes of the first half. The cooperation between Paulo Dybala and Lautaro Martinez has ruffled Chile’s defensive line. However Claudio Brave was still able to seize the kick from Inter Milan’s striker.

Chile also did not want to lose. Eduardo Vargas forced Andrea Marchesin to fight to keep the ball off the goal. As a result there were no goals created until the interval.

In the second half, Lionel Scaloni and Reinaldo Rueda made several substitutions to increase the tempo of the game. However, both of the coach’s way did not produce results. Until the referee announced the the end of the match, no goals were created.
