Arsenal is without Skhodran Mustafi in the FA Cup Final when facing Chelsea

DBasia.news – Facing Chelsea, Arsenal would be without Skhodran Mustafi in the FA Cup Final which will be held on Saturday (1/8/2020) evening at Wembley Stadium.

Mustafi suffered an injury at the end of the semifinal match which Arsenal won 2-0 over Manchester City at Wembley last week.

“Will lose the remaining matches this season. Further details regarding the recovery program will be confirmed in the coming days,” wrote a statement from Arsenal.

The German defender has received a lot of criticism for his inconsistent appearance since being brought in from Valencia in 2016. But Mustafi has begun to regain his place under Mikel Arteta.

Mustafi recorded being a starter 12 times in the last 15 Arsenal games in the Premier League.

This is the second time Mustafi has missed the FA Cup final against Chelsea. Previously when Arsenal won 2-1 over Chelsea in the FA Cup final, Mustafi was also absent due to an illness.
