Arsenal players to be looked out by Liverpool

By news-admin

Pierre-Emerick Aubayemang

DBasia.news –  Liverpool will host Arsenal at Anfield in Week three of the Premier League on Saturday (8/24) evening Western Indonesian Time. The Gunners are faced with a big challenge to undermine Anfield’s awesomeness.

In the last six matches the two teams at Anfield, Liverpool won four times and the rest of the match ended in a draw. Not only that, the host was so dominant and crazed through a record total of 20 goals, while Arsenal only included nine goals.

Arsenal also hasn’t won in the last six years at Anfield. Their last two trips there ended with a landslide 0-4 and 1-5 defeat. So, Liverpool is very seeded to win the match later.

Nevertheless, in a football match the statistics have no effect, moreover Arsenal – just like Liverpool – won the first two Premier League matches. Their momentum is also good with the recruits.

Unai Emery, Arsenal manager, can rely on four players to be the key or differentiator of the results of the match which can end the curse at Anfield. Following analysis from BolaSkor.com:

1. Pierre-Emerick Aubayemang

The sharpness of the Gabon national team striker has been seen through a notch two goals in the first two Premier League matches. In a good momentum and confidence, it was natural for Pierre-Emerick Aubame to be relied on to break through Liverpool’s goal.

Without Alisson Becker, Aubameyang could hope that Adrian was not as good as the Brazilian goalkeeper. The speed and agility of Aubameyang will test the toughness of Jurgen Klopp’s two mainstay defenders: Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk.

2. Alexandre Lacazette

Aubameyang moves more actively to pick up the ball, attack the opponent’s defense gap, and explore space. But the tandem, Alexandre Lacazette, is more efficient at converting chances into goals.

He scored one goal when Arsenal won 2-1 over Burnley. Liverpool’s defense cannot be careless in guarding Lacazette. One opportunity, whether it’s half done or ripe, can be converted into goals.

3. Nicolas Pepe

The Ivorian winger could be Unai Emery’s secret weapon against Liverpool. Liverpool’s defense is not fully aware of the style of play and the quality of the Arsenal transfer record.

Nicolas Pepe could be Arsenal’s Eden Hazard. At least, if he does not score goals, Pepe’s agility and dribble action could open Liverpool’s strong defense.

4. Dani Ceballos

His name was immediately famous in England after giving two assists against Burnley. Dani Ceballos’s movements are more dynamic than Mesut Ozil and fans see him as Santi Cazorla, a former Spanish midfielder who has defended Arsenal (2012-2018).

Scoring goals is not Ceballos’ job, but, with an accurate vision of his play and pass, Ceballos can dismantle the Liverpool defense meeting. The Real Madrid loan player is also a reliable long-distance kicker. Liverpool can’t let him be free to create.
