Arsenal wants to bring in Felipe Anderson from West Ham United

DBasia.news – Arsenal reportedly wanted to bring in West Ham United midfielder, Felipe Anderson in the transfer market this summer.

Incidentally, West Ham coach, David Moyes did not like the Brazilian player. It is proven that in the second half of the 2019-2020 season, Anderson only started once in 20 matches in the Premiere League.

According to Football Insider, Arsenal are trying to withdraw the former Lazio player from the London Stadium. The Gunners coach, Mikel Arteta, is a big fan of the 27-year-old footballer.

“Arteta will make Anderson as the main target to add options in the area of attack for his team,” wrote a the report as quoted by Sportsmole, Friday (4/9).

It’s no secret that the Spanish architect is looking for a new playmaker. A creative figure who can support his team’s attack. Actually there is Mesut Ozil who can fill that role.

However, in recent months the fate of the former Real Madrid has been uncertain. Arsenal are more in need of an attacking midfielder who moves the ball quickly. Oezil is considered unable to meet these expectations. His golden age has passed.

The former member of the German national team has been completely sidelined. Every now and then he gets injured. Without a playmaker figure, Arteta has made Arsenal play more pragmatically. Especially when meeting big teams.

But he realized, not every time the Gunners rely on defense and counter attacks. That’s why he is hunting for new creators. Anderson is on the London Cannon’s wanted list.
