Arthur Melo Rebels, Barcelona Take Legal Course

By db-admin

DBasia.news – There is no stopping of Barcelona affected by problems this season. After failing to win the LaLiga title for the third time in a row, Barca faced internal issues among players who had difficulty understanding the playing style of Quique Setien, and now related to Arthur Melo’s news.

The 23-year-old midfielder had already been sold by Barcelona to Juventus with a price tag of 82 million euros (plus variables) and a barter for Miralem Pjanic. Arthur was contracted by Juve for five years.

Nevertheless the player was allegedly annoyed at Barca because he had confirmed his desire to play for the club which he had strengthened from 2018. As a result the former Gremio player was allegedly rebelled at Barca.

On Monday (07/27) local time Arthur did not come to undergo the corona virus test, then on Tuesday (07/28) local time Arthur also did not attend the Barcelona training session. Though he was still contracted by Barca until the end of August 2020.

No doubt Barca – according to news from Marca – brought Arthur’s problem into the law. Barca did not want to break Arthur’s contract and will fine the player for his actions.

Barcelona had originally wanted to resolve the issue with Arthur well, but the player chose not to engage in dialogue and went rebel. Barca see this as a violation of club policy and decided to bring it up.

That situation is clearly not ideal for a club which has received a lot of attention this season. Moreover, even though LaLiga has ended Barca will still play against Napoli in the Champions League in August.

This can break the player dressing room. Former Barcelona player Miguel Angel Nadal is also worried that this could make the atmosphere in the dressing room worse if the two sides are not immediately resolved.

“It would be better to find solutions to the problem in a friendly way. I am sure if they sit together and talk, they understand each other. This is a situation that does not benefit the club or the player,” Nadal told Marca.
