DBasia.news – Serie A club AS Roma are forced to undo the intention to bring in Jack Rodwell into the team. AS Roma considers the former Manchester City player to be useless if forced to join the club.
As quoted from Football Italia, Tuesday (29/10) initially Rodwell was recruited to become a coating in midfield as many players were injured.
However, young Italian player, Gianluca Mancini, played neatly during AS Roma’s 2-1 win over AC Milan last weekend. Mancini’s performance impressed Roma coach, Paulo Fonseca.
Whereas Rodwell had previously been in Rome to undergo a medical test and would immediately head to the next contract signing. Rodwell’s own status at the end of last season was a free transfer.
The 28-year-old has played at the English Premier League’s second caste club with Blackburn Rovers. Afterwards, he did not play football. This factor is also a material consideration for the management of AS Roma in failing to purchase a former Manchester City player.
Jack Rodwell began his career at Everton. He was once considered one of the rissing stars of the England national team. Had has defended Manchester City, Rodwell appeared disappointing for two seasons at the Etihad Stadium.
