Atletico Madrid Got Injury Attacks

DBasia.news – Atletico Madrid is one of the teams with a disappointing result at the beginning of 2018/2019 LaLiga. No wonder, Diego Simeone squad just scored four points by one winning, one draw, and one defeat.

Consequently, Diego Godin and friends fell to the 10th rank of the standing and left 5 points from the leaders: Barcelona and Real Madrid with a similar score. Simeone supposed to have the chance to improve the squad.

Moreover, on Saturday (15/9), Atletico will play against a bottom team, SD Eibar. But the struggle won’t be easy for sure. Simeone just has 15 main players ahead of the match.

Simeone is confused due to the injuries in his squad. Recently, Santiago Arias got a rib injury when supporting the Colombia national team and returned to Madrid on Sunday (9/9) for recovery.

Arias will conduct two physical tests, but his chance to play against Eibar is small. Among the injured players there are also Juanfran, Vitolo, and Nikola Kalinic.

 

 

Actually the two defenders, Vitolo and Juanfran are recovering. However, they are still uncertain about the match this weekend. If both passed, someone will send Thomas Partey as the right defender or modify the defensive line.

Besides the four names who absent due to injury, Atletico also lose Stefan Savic. He got a red card during the match against Celta Vigo with a 0-2 score. He is still in the suspended period when the team play against Eibar.
