Liverpool Focused More on Bounemouth Rather Than Atletico

DBasia.news –  After being eliminated from the FA Cup, Liverpool still have the task to turn things around in the Champions League. But The Reds turned out to focus more on the Premiere League first.

Liverpool’s target to achieve treble winner was over after being thrown out from the FA Cup. The Reds was defeated by The Blues 0-2 on the fifth round in the Stamford Bridge, Wednesday (4/3/2020).

This is the third loss for Liverpool in the last four games in all competitions. Previously, they were defeated by Atletico 0-1 and Watford 0-3.

Their defeat to Atletico in the first leg of last 16 Champions League left a huge task for Liverpool. They have to turn things around to maintain the opportunity to defend the Champions League title.

Liverpool will take turn hosting Atletico in the second leg, Thursday (12/3/2020). But Jurgen Klopp claimed that the focus of his team is currently not there.

Liverpool want to get back to winning games first in the Premiere League. Sadio Mane and squad will host Bournemouth who last week held a 2-2 draw with Chelsea in week 29, Saturday (7/3/2020).

“We are not interested in Atletico Madrid, it’s all about Bournemouth. They put everything and played very well against Chelsea,” Klopp said. “There is no need to pity us. We will win the football match again and that’s what we want to do on Saturday,” he said.
