Atletico Madrid Hunting for Christian Eriksen
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Christian Eriksen, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, failed to leave the club in the 2019 summer transfer window.
Spurs want to increase Eriksen’s service period considering he can be obtained free of charge in the summer of 2020, but until now his new contract talks have not shown any significant progress.
This situation certainly makes several top European clubs ready to compete to get the signature of the Danish player, so far there have been two teams that expressed interest, namely Inter Milan and Manchester United.
But it seems like the two clubs above now have a new competitor, one of La Liga’s top teams, Atletico Madrid is also still interested in bringing Eriksen, even according to US reports, the club which is now being trained by Diego Simeone will try to bring the player in January transfer window.
Eriksen’s performance during the Spurs race since 2013 was indeed quite consistent. He is almost always the first choice and has now managed to appear in 281 matches with a collection of 67 goals and 86 assists.
If in the end the player born in Middelfart, Denmark is anchored to Wanda Metropolitano, then Eriksen will reunite with his former teammate, Kieran Trippier who had already joined in the summer of 2019.
