Barcelona Rejects a IDR 1.6 Trillion offer for Ansu Fati from Manchester United

DBasia.news – Barcelona’s prodigy, Ansu Fati, has come to the attention of a number of Europe’s top clubs. One of them is the English League participant, Manchester United.

Manchester United has made the 17-year-old player their best option if they fail to bring in Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. The character of these two players are similar.

With a younger age, Manchester United believes Fati’s value will be lower than Sancho. They reportedly gave an offer of 89 million pounds to Barcelona.

Unfortunately the offer was not responded by Barcelona. Blaugrana seems to have wanted to make Fati as the successor to Lionel Messi.

“We never discussed plans to sell him. We will not use academy players to bring in money,” Barcelona Director, Xavier Vlajoana told Sport.

Fati’s name began to attract attention after playing his debut at LaLiga against Real Betis on August 25, 2019. At that time he was only 16 years and 298 days.

The Guinea-Bissau decent player scored his first goal against Osasuna just six days after playing his debut. The incision has made him Barcelona’s youngest goalscorer in LaLiga.

“In principle, we have no desire to sell players who we believe will enter the first team. I think Ansu is happy here and will be an important player in the next few years,” he added.

At the age of 18, Fati has not been permitted to sign a professional contract. This gap is what Manchester United is trying to exploit.

The Manchester City city rivals does enjoy hijacking graduates of La Masia. Previously, they reportedly managed to hijack 16-year-old Barcelona young player, Marc Jurado.
