Barcelona’s offer for Memphis Depay is accepted by Lyon

DBasia.news – Barcelona will have new players in the near future. Italian transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano reported that the offer made by Barca for Memphis Depay has been received by Olympique Lyon.

Barcelona coach, Ronald Koeman, has asked management to bring in Memphis Depay. Koeman, who understands Depay’s abilities well, as he has worked with the Dutch national team, is sure that the player will give a new color to Barca’s front lines.

Last season, Depay scored 15 goals in 22 matches in various competitions. Depay also led Lyon to step up to the Champions League semifinals.

Barcelona’s efforts to bringing in Depay were not too tortuous. Reportedly, Barcelona has reached a personal agreement with Depay. The former Manchester United player will sign a contract that runs until 2024.

Another player linked with Barcelona is Thiago Alcantara. Some Spanish media have speculated that Thiago will return to Barcelona from Bayern Munich. However, according to Romano, Thiago is more inclined towards Liverpool.
