Bayern Munchen Clash with Lewandowski’s Agent
By news-admin
DBasia.news – No matter what would be the risk in the future, Bayern Munchen hold to the principle to keep the Polandian key striker, Robert Lewandowski from the target of Spain huge club, Real Madrid.
Lewandowski, 29, has been playing for Bayern since 2014 and gave all the efforts there resulting in 4 Bundesliga titles, 1 DFB-Pokal, and 3 DFL Super Cup. The former Borussia Dortmund striker said that he wanted to start a new journey after 8 years playing in Germany.
The player who was born in Warsaw, August 21, 1988, changed his agent to Pini Zahavi, the agent who succeeded Neymar’s transfer record worth 222 million euro from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). The expectation is clear: Lewandowski wants to leave Bayern.
However, Lewandowski’s expectation didn’t meet the answer because Bayern still want his service. Bayern president Uli Hoeness admitted that avoid the meeting with Zahavi who frequently contacting him to talk about Lewandowski’s transfer.
“We just did not have his agent under control. But we have not given him the opportunity to talk. He tried four or five times to get an appointment with me. I told him: I have no free appointment until September 2 at 2.30pm,” Hoeness said reported by AS.
September 2 means exceeded the transfer market limit in Europe. It means, Bayern don’t have the intention to sell Lewandowski, though there was a 150 million euro offer.
“If he can drop this baggage that his adviser has given him, it’ll be Bayern’s best signing,” Hoeness added.
Bayern’s insistence to keep Lewandowski is risky. Just like a time bomb, Lewandowski could play half-heartedly if Bayern didn’t give him the chance to join another club while has given everything to Die Roten.
