Bayern Munich haven’t given up on Leroy Sane

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Speculation of Leroy Sane’s transfer was hot enough to be discussed in the summer of 2019 because he was not played by Pep Guardiola in Manchester City.

Utilizing the situation, the Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munchen became the most serious club to bring it in, even it was rumored if they had opened negotiations with the player’s representative several times. Unfortunately, his move from Etihad Stadium was canceled because City put a fantastic price, 100 million pounds.

Not only that, but Sane’s move was also canceled because the German player was smothered by an ACL injury which required him to pull over for at least six months.

Canceling Sane’s departure does not necessarily make the 23-year-old player quiet of transfer rumors, Bayern even still make it as the main target, even this has been confirmed directly by the club’s president, Uli Hoeness.

“Yes, Bayern Munich is interested in recruiting Leroy Sane. We have opened discussions with him, but this has finally stopped because he is seriously injured,” Hoeness said as reported by Mirror.

“Now we will see how the injury recovery process works. I think we have to sit back together and discuss this in January or February, after that the new club will make a decision (regarding the Sane transfer),” added the 67-year-old man.

Adding ammunition on the front lines seems to have become Die Roten’s main agenda this summer because the players they brought in, Ivan Perisic and Philippe Coutinho are only on loan.
