Bayern Munich is Ready to make Ivan Perisic’s Contract Permanent
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich, are likely to activate the purchase clause from Inter player, Ivan Perisic. The Croatian winger was able to show a brilliant performance to his team.
Ivan Perisic joined Bayern last summer from Inter on loan. Perisic was declared to have failed to adapt in Antonio Conte’s 3-5-2 formation in the pre-season.
Previously, La Gazetta dello Sport stated that the 2018 World Cup runner-up is likely to return to Inter next season. This is because Perisic is not the first choice to replace Frank Ribery on Bayern’s left wing position.
Die Rotten’s first choice was Manchester City’s, Leroy Sane, but because he suffered an injury, it was Perisic who was later chosen as an alternative.
But the latest report from German newspaper, Kicker. Bayern has changed its mind to make Perisic permanent. Perisic’s performance seems to have convinced Hansi Flick enough to keep him at the Alianz Arena.
If that happens, Bayern must spend around 20 million euros to activate the purchase clause of the former Dortmund player.
Ivan Perisic has recorded five goals and eight assists in his 22 appearances for Bayern this season. Before Bayern, Perisic had previously played in the Bundesliga for four seasons with Dortmund and Wolfsburg. During those four seasons, he won one Bundesliga title, two DFB-Pokal titles, and two German Supercup titles.
