Bayern Ready to Extend Thiago’s Contract

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Bayern Munich began to extend their player’s contract one by one. This time it’s Thiago Alcantara’s turn.

Munich is indeed building a new era under Hansi Flick. The Spaniard appeared to still be included in the coach’s plan.

Reporting from Bild, the extension of the Thiago contract has been completed. Munchen’s management will announce it this week.

Thiago left Barcelona for Munich in 2013. This decision is quite surprising because he is projected to be the successor to Xavi Hernandez as El Barca’s midfield general.

Thiago’s career in Munich is not always smooth sailing. He had to be absent several times for a long time due to injury.

Even so, Thiago’s contribution remains large for Munich. The 29-year-old player has appeared in 227 matches and contributed 31 goals.

Before Thiago, Munchen had already extended his two-player contract, Alphonso Davies and Thomas Mueller. While other Die Roten stars like Manuel Neuer and David Alaba are still in the process of negotiations.
