DBasia.news –  Bruno Fernandes looked tired and tired of listening to speculations about his transfer to Manchester United. The Sporting Lisbon midfielder gave up his future to the club and ignored the transfer market.

Fernandes has become a transfer saga this summer which links him to two Manchester clubs, Manchester United and Manchester City. But after the Citizens recruited Rodri from Atletico Madrid, Fernandes was linked with United.

Sporting president Frederico Varandas has reminded interested clubs that Fernandes’ prices have reached 62 million euros. United did not even submit a concrete bid for two things.

First, they are focusing on completing the transfer of Harry Maguire from Leicester City. Then the second, United also still sorting out options to bring Sean Longstaff from Newcastle United as an alternative to Fernandes.

The situation frustrated Fernandes. The 24-year-old Portuguese midfielder was resigned to the situation and gave everything to the club.

“I don’t care about the transfer market. I have talked a lot about this (transfer speculation), I don’t need to talk anymore. I said I want to play in England. When the club decides (then everything will be clear). I have no authority.” Fernandes was quoted as saying by the AS.

“I am not a decisive person. I am not the Sporting President,” said the former Udinese and Sampdoria player.

Given Fernandes’ performance with Longstaff, fans will be more hopeful that United will recruit Fernandes because he last season scored 20 goals in all competitions and gave 13 assists in the Primeira League.

Midfielders as productive as Fernandes will provide a new color in the game of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United. Moreover, they lost Ander Herrera who left PSG (Paris Saint-Germain).
