By db-admin

DBasia.news – Manchester City managed to maintain the momentum of victory in the Premier League which has only just restarted again after being suspended due to the corona virus pandemic. After a 3-0 win against Arsenal, The Citizens crushed Burnley.

Man City won an absolute 5-0 victory over Burnley at Etihad Stadium in the continued week of the Premier League 30th Tuesday (23/06). City’s five goalscorers are Phil Foden (22′ 63′), Riyad Mahrez (43′ 45 + 3′ penalty), and David Silva (51′).

With 72 percent possession plus 18 attempted kicks – seven of them on target – now wonder if City win an absolute victory. Moreover, Burnley made by Sean Dyche has a 28 percent possession record and only two attempts to kick the ball.

Goal feast against Burnley was not just this time carried out by Man City. According to data published by Squawka, Man City have scored 22 goals and conceded one goal when playing against Burnley in the last five home games.

In the last two Premier League matches Man City have scored eight goals and have not suffered a single hit on target. For Man City since taking care of Pep Guardiola from 2016 incised five more goals in one match is also not new.

“Manchester City have scored five more goals on 17 different occasions in the Premier League since Pep Guardiola joined at the start of the 2016-17 season; more than any other team,” added @OptaJoe.

Manchester City solidify their position as Premier League runners-up with 63 points, 20 points adrift of Liverpool who can ensure the championship title if they win against Crystal Palace at Anfield on Thursday (6/25) at 2:15 a.m. WIB.

Unfortunately for Man City and Guardiola the victory was colored by the injury of the mainstay striker, Sergio Aguero.

“Unfortunately it (the injury) does not look good. We will see it again tomorrow. He struggled last month with a problem in his knee and he now feels something. So tomorrow we will find out for sure,” Guardiola said.
