DBasia.news – Carlos Tevez is the living proof that a football player doesn’t necessarily love the football match on the television.
Tevez doesn’t like to watch the football match on television. He analogizes if there’s a golf tournament broadcasted at the same time with El Clasico of Real Madrid against Barcelona, he would prefer to watch the golf tournament instead.
“I never watch football. I don’t like it,” Tevez told Clarin.
“If Barcelona-Real Madrid is on, I change the channel to watch golf. I was never a football fanatic. I like to have the ball between my feet,” the former Argentina national team striker added.
Tevez also ensures his football career next year, when his contract with Boca Juniors ends. In this opportunity, he also told his experience winning the Libertadores Cup as a huge success.
Tevez won the Libertadores Cup with Boca Juniors in 2003. “Copa Libertadores? This is the best an Argentine player can hope for,” Tevez said.
As a matter of fact, Tevez decided to retire from Boca Juniors, the team where they started the career as a professional football player after joining the Chinese League team, Shanghai Shenhua, last season.
