DBasia.news – Juventus Director Fabio Paratici compares the different challenge during signing Carlos Tevez and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Fabio Paratici is one of the masterminds behind Juventus revival after the Calciopoli. Since 2010, Paratici is responsible for I Bianconeri transfer process.

At that time, Fabio Paratici worked under Giuseppe Marotta. Paratici had the duty to find players for Juventus and Marotta negotiated it.

Many players came to Juventus by his role, such as Leonardo Bonucci, Arturo Vidal, hingga Carlos Tevez, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

During an interview with Sky Sports Italia, Fabio Paratici revealed the most difficult transfer he had. Surprisingly, Paratici mentioned the signing of Carlos Tevez.

“The most drawn-out negotiations were for (Carlos) Tevez. We contacted him at the end of my first year with Juve when we were looking to rebuild the team. And even though we weren’t in the Champions League, he immediately said yes,” Fabio Paratici recalled.

“It didn’t come off in the end, for different reasons, but we stayed in contact. I always wanted to bring Tevez to Juve,” Fabio Paratici added.

Fabio Paratici also compared it to the moment when Juventus signed Cristiano Ronaldo. Paratici thinks everything was simple because Ronaldo had the interest to join La Vecchia Signora.

“Cristiano Ronaldo was quite simple because he wanted to come to Juventus and there was no need to convince him. I think he decided around May 25, after the Champions League final, and his response was immediate,” Fabio Paratici revealed.

“I spoke with the president and told him there was an opportunity, he asked me for a day or two to think about it, but then called me three hours later and told me to write the contracts.”

“To draw up all the contracts we rented a villa on Lake Maggiore for a whole day, with all the representatives of Juventus and the player,” he added.
