Chelsea Agreed on Transfer of Inter Milan Midfielder, Matias Vecino

DBasia.news –  Chelsea has reportedly agreed to atone the price requested by Inter Milan for midfielder Matias Vecino in the transfer market next summer, according to a Metro report on Sunday (16/2).

 Chelsea has been freed from the ban on registering new players since the winter of 2020. However, the Blues did not bring even one player in that period.

 The situation is rumored to make Frank Lampard disappointed.  The former Manchester City striker rated Chelsea’s current squad not enough to compete in the Premier League’s top flight.

 Chelsea management finally tried to comply with Lampard’s request for a new player.  Although the season is not over, Chelsea will certainly get the Ajax Amsterdam midfielder, Judge Ziyech after spending 40 million euros.

 Judge Ziyech’s arrival is a sign Chelsea are ready to compete in the transfer market.  Now, the Blues direct their eyes to Inter Milan’s Matias Vecino.

 Matias Vecino is the second choice for Antonio Conte in Inter Milan’s midfield.  Usually, the 28-year-old is placed in the second line close to the right wing-back.

 Antonio Conte does not mind Matias Vecino leaving from Giuseppe Meazza.  Later, the money from the sale of Vecino will be used to bring in other players.

 Even so, the way Chelsea is guarding Vecino won’t be easy.  The news from England said, Everton, has been monitoring the midfielder since the beginning of the summer of 2019.

 Inter Milan recruited Matias Vecino from Fiorentina in the 2017-2018 season with a fee of 24 million euros.  The Uruguayan midfielder is under contract for the next 2 years.
