By db-admin

DBasia.news – The future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Arsenal is still doubtful and he is monitored by many European clubs. Reportedly Chelsea is also interested in recruiting him.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is one of the players who is rumored to be leaving Arsenal. News said the Gabon player wanted to leave because the Gunners never won the title.

In February 2020, Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta tried to clear up the situation. Arteta is optimistic that Aubameyang will extend the contract which will end in 2021.

“Arsenal has a clear idea about the direction they want to develop. We have intense communication with the player’s agent,” Arteta said as reported by Goal.

“Arsenal understands how to extend contracts more than I do. So, I have full confidence in them,” said the former right-hand man of Pep Guardiola.

Nevertheless, snowballs keep rolling and getting bigger. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wanted to strengthen the team that competes in the Champions League.

Bleacher Report reported Chelsea was one of the teams that shows interest. The Blues need a new striker and their desired criteria are in Aubameyang.

Besides being keen, Chelsea wanted to recruit experienced attackers. The Blues manager, Frank Lampard, feels attackers with high experience can set example for young players.

Furthermore, Chelsea will also be left Olivier Giroud next summer. The club failed to find an agreement about the new contract with the French player.

However, the way Chelsea bringing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Stamford Bridge will not be easy. Chelsea will have to compete with a number of clubs such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Inter Milan. Arsenal is predicted to be more amenable to selling the striker outside England.
