DBasia.news –  New Milan striker, Christian Eriksen, was unable to contain his joy after his debut match. Eriksen felt warmly welcomed by the team and also by Inter Milan fans.

Inter Milan brought in Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday this week. Nerazzurri reportedly poured funds up to 20 million euros for the Danish international player

Christian Eriksen immediately showed off just a few days ago by appearing in the match against Fiorentina. Antonio Conte played Eriksen in the 66th minute to replace Alexis Sanchez.

Before Eriksen entered the field, it was seen that Inter Milan supporters gave a standing ovation. In fact, it had already happened when the player was warming up.

“It looks good and I feel good. Hopefully many will come. Thank you for the warm welcome,” Eriksen wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Antonio Conte, did not deny that playing Christian Eriksen in the match against Fiorentina was a rushed choice. However, he was unable to do much as he did not have many choices.

“We do not intend to lose Christian Eriksen too early. The reason, he just started training with us yesterday. However, Matias Vecino and Nicolo Barella are our available midfielders,” Conte explained to Rai Sports.

In that match, Christian Eriksen still did not appear optimally. The midfielder still needs time to adapt.

“Christian Eriksen has a character that can raise the level of quality of the team. I hope to get the players (injured) back because the availability in the center is very limited,” said the coach.

“We tried to play with the trequatista scheme today to overcome the absence of Stefano Sensi and Marcelo Brozovic. Eriksen can play in a number of different positions. We will decide that later and this could be an option.”

Meanwhile, the match ended for Inter Milan’s 2-1 victory. Two Inter goals were scored by Antonio Candreva and Barella. In the semifinal match, Il Biscione will face Napoli.
