DBasia.news –Jose Pekerman resigned from his duty as the coach of Colombia national team. His achievements to pass Colombia to the 2014 and 2018 World Cup will be remembered.
The Federació Catalana de Futbol (FCF) announced the resignation of Pekerman. This is a big loss for Colombia considering Pekerman is really loved by the Colombian football, though he came from Argentine.
“After a meeting with Jose Nestor Pekerman, the coach has expressed his desire not to continue as the head of the national side,” the FCF said in a short statement.
FCF also said thank you despite the expectation that Pekerman stays. But the agreement has been reached and decided together.
“We at the FCF are proud to have counted on the coach, who qualified us for the World Cups in Brazil in 2014 and Russia in 2018,” said FCF statement.
