Confirmed Leaving LA Galaxy, Ibrahimovic docked to AC Milan

Zlatan Ibrahimovic confirmed he would leave LA Galaxy at the end of the season. That way, the 38-year-old striker can join another club on a free transfer in January 2020.

Several clubs have been linked with Ibra including Liverpool. However, with jokes, Jurgen Klopp indicated the Reds did not need Ibrahimovic.

“If Ibrahimovic had never defended Manchester United, we would consider it. However, I’m sure he does not want to play with us. We are a very strong team,” joked Klopp as reported by Sportbladet.

“I really respect Zlatan Ibrahimovic. I like his entire career, his efforts, and his confidence,” continued the manager.

“Although not always right, he is always entertaining. He is a fantastic player and I hope he does not stop being a footballer. The world will miss him,” Klopp said.

Ibrahimovic’s biggest opportunity is to return to Serie A. Reportedly, AC Milan and Naples are ready to accommodate the former Barcelona player. In fact, LA Galaxy coach, Guillermo Barros Schelotto, predicts Ibra will head for Italy.

“I do not know what Ibra will decide. He is an extraordinary player, but I do not know what steps he took. Maybe, he will end his career in Naples or Milan,” Schelotto said as reported by Italian Football.

Napoli and AC Milan are indeed two clubs that are not shy about giving code to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. In fact, the president of Naples, Aurelio De Laurentiis, once claimed to meet Ibra to invite him to join.

Meanwhile, for the Rossoneri, Ibra is the answer to a quality striker but has a low price. Ibra is considered able to accompany Krzysztof Piatek as a striker duet.
