DBasia.news – The most awaited goal from Cristiano Ronaldo with Juventus FC in the 2018-2019 Serie A finally happens. CR7 even scored two goals when Juventus defeated Sassuolo with a 2-1 score at Allianz Stadium, Sunday night.
But Sassuolo coach Roberto De Zerbi considered Ronaldo’s goals in the match against his squad aren’t special. He even described the first goal of former Real Madrid player as a luck. Ronaldo just kicked the ball to the unguarded net of Sassuolo.
“I’m sad for the way we conceded the first goal, how it rebounded, it was Cristiano Ronaldo’s lucky moment, then we took the second one on a counterattack,” De Zerbi said.
After scoring two goals, Ronaldo has two golden opportunities to add more goals. Along with the failure of Portugal national team player converting the opportunities, Sassuolo’s performance was getting more intense.
The peak was when Khouma Babacar scored the goal at 90′. Unfortunately, the goal was too late so Domenico Berardi and friends ran out of time to balance the situation.
“I am very happy with the overall performance and attitude of my team. It’s annoying to lose, but it can happen. We actually played better after going a goal behind, perhaps shaking off some of the responsibility and tension,” De Zerbi uttered.
