Cristiano Ronaldo Is Not Treated Specially at Juventus

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Being one of the best soccer players does not necessarily mean that Cristiano Ronaldo will receive special treatment at Juventus. Juventus coach, Andrea Pirlo admits all players are treated the same.

Cristiano Ronaldo (35 years) has played for Juventus since 2018 after successfully leaving Manchester United and Real Madrid with legend status (achieved great success). Plus he is one of the best players in the world to have won five Ballon d’Or.

Like the Hollywood artist Ronaldo is also a celebrity in the world of football. Naturally, if there is an assumption that Ronaldo gets special treatment at Juventus. Pirlo denied this emphatically and said Ronaldo was treated the same as other players.

“I have not challenged (Ronaldo) in a dead ball situation. I treat him like I treat all other players. I am always available on and off the pitch,” Pirlo said as quoted by Football-Italy.

“It’s easy to have good relationships between humble people. I like that.”

“I behave with him – a champion – like I did with (Gianluca) Frabotta or (Manolo) Portanova, who are two young players. I do the same thing I used to do when I was a player,” said Pirlo.

Juventus will try to secure tickets to the last 16 of the Champions League when they play the fourth match in Group G against Ferencvaros at Allianz Stadium, Wednesday (25/11).

Il Bianconeri are currently in second place in the standings with six points, behind Barcelona who have nine points and above Dynamo Kyiv and Ferencvaros with a collection of one point.

In addition, Pirlo also discussed Ronaldo’s chances of playing together with Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala on the front lines. This is possible but Pirlo still has to think about the balance of the team.

“We have thought about it from the start. Unfortunately, we never had them together in good shape. We are thinking about different solutions,” added Pirlo.

“Dybala is injured, Morata was not there from the start, Ronaldo has Covid … they trained together for a few days. Now, we will try to balance the team, and then we will find a solution to let them play together, if possible,” he explained.
