Cristiano Ronaldo undergoes Quarantine in Italy

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Juventus players have started returning to Turin, Italy, to restart training sessions amid the corona virus pandemic. No exception for the 35-year-old megastar, Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese player returned to Italy after nearly two months in Madeira, Portugal, with his family. Ronaldo returned home after Serie A was stopped due to the spread of Covid-19 in Italy.

Ronaldo and other players were expected to return on May 18, the day when Serie A clubs returned to training. But the Italian government accelerated it until May 4, 2020 after many regions allowed the club to re-open the training ground.

Upon arriving in Italy, those who come from abroad are required to follow the protocols and regulations. Including Cristiano Ronaldo who according to news from Goal will be quarantined for two weeks or 14 days.

Apart from Ronaldo, names like Aaron Ramsey, Federico Bernardeschi, Juan Cuadrado, Carlo Pinsoglio, and Merih Demiral, also slowly returned to Maurizio Sarri’s squad. All Juventus players will undergo a corona virus test.

The opening of the training session does not mean that everything is proceeding normally, as the players are required to follow the rules or protocols of the club. Players will receive direction from the club regarding individual and small group training sessions that must be undertaken.

Serie A operators are also looking for solutions to the continuation of Serie A 2019-20. All clubs have agreed for the league to resume, not terminated like the Eredivisi without champions and promotion teams and relegation.

Until today (05/05) 211,938 positive cases of corona virus have been recorded with 29,079 deaths in Italy.
