Cristiano Ronaldo’s Agent Investigated Tax Fraud Case

A number of local Portuguese media said that Ronaldo’s agent was being investigated along with Carlos Osorio de Castro who became Ronaldo’s lawyer related to tax fraud cases.

The police are said to be looking for documents relating to Ronaldo’s image rights. The police suspect that Mendes and de Castro did not report the commercial rights that Ronaldo obtained in his tax returns. This makes the player avoid proper tax payments.
