DBasia.news – Juventus failed to lift the Coppa Italia trophy after losing to Napoli. Cristiano Ronaldo appeared to be devastated by the failure.

Juventus faced Napoli in the Coppa Italia final, Thursday (6/18/2020). In a match that took place at the Stadio Olimpico, Rome, Bainconeri fell 2-4 on penalties, after both teams played 0-0 for 90 minutes.

This is the second time that Juve have failed to win the Coppa Italia in a row. At the same time it marked the first failure of Ronaldo in the final match that has been passed.

Juan Cuadrado revealed Ronaldo’s mood after the game. The 35-year-old player was said to be disappointed.

“He was a little sad about the results and the match, because we wanted to win. Penalties are always a hit or miss,” Cuadrado said as quoted by Italian Football.

“We must learn from every mistake, stay professional, and stay focused,” Cuadrado stressed.

Ronaldo has not scored a goal for Juventus in four straight matches in all competitions. The former Real Madrid player scored his last goal on February 22 when Juventus defeated SPAL 2-1.
