Daniele Adani Praises Matias Vecino’s Performance

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Inter Milan won 2-1 over Hellas Verona in the continued Serie A match. Matias Vecino scored one of the goals in that match.

Matias Vecino’s goal at Giuseppe Meazza was his second goal in two consecutive matches. Previously he also scored one goal when Inter lost 2-3 to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

Even so, there are still many who underestimate the presence of the midfielder. This is recognized by former I Nerazzuri player, Daniele Adani.

“Vecino is an important player, not only for Antonio Conte, but also when the team was trained by Luciano Spalletti and Oscar Tabarez in the Uruguay national team,” Adani stated as quoted by Sky Sport Italia, Sunday (11/10/2019).

“He is an important figure for the team. But there are still many who underestimate the ability of Vecino on the field. “When you feel you have not lost time, you are not on the field, then in reality you feel the burden when he is there,” he added.

The Uruguayan was unable to compete with Nicolo Barella, Stefano Sensi and Roberto Gagliardini. However, the injury of Sensi and Gagliardini has made him dependable by Conte.

He also answered the coach’s confidence with a charming performance. This season the 28-year-old player has appeared in nine matches in all competitions and scored two goals.
