DBasia.news – Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui revealed that his club’s transfer policy won’t change due to the failure in the 2018 UEFA. Los Blancos won’t accidentally have a transfer.
Real Madrid had a bit poor season. They were defeated 2-4 from the rival, Atletico Madrid, in the 2018 UEFA, Wednesday (16/8).
During the match at A. Le Coq Arena, Estonia, Atletico scored the goals through Diego Costa (1′, 79′), Saul Niguez (99′), and Sergio Ramos (63′).
After the match, many said the failure due to Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit. Real Madrid supporters asked their club to recruit the player in Ronaldo’s level.
Some names are related to Real Madrid. From Eden Hazard, Mauro Icardi, to Robert Lewandowski as Los Blancos’ targets. But there was no further approach.
However, Lopetegui revealed that he won’t be in a rush to get Cristiano Ronaldo’s successor. The former Spain national team coach considered Real Madrid dominated the match.
“What was outlined by the club’s sports policy does not change by this final. Now LaLiga starts, which is a very important title for me, and we have to start well,” Lopetegui told Marca.
“We were playing well in extra time, we are dominating, combining, playing together, with good feelings, and after 3-2 the game has changed, problems have appeared and we have looked for solutions with risky decisions,” he continued.
