DBasia.news –  Germany slaughtered their guest, Belarus, 4-0 at Borussia-Park Stadium. Germany qualified for the 2020 European Cup finals and topped the qualifying Group C.

Matthias Ginter and Leon Goretzka opened the German lead before Toni Kroos completed Der Panzer’s victory through the two goals he achieved.

The victory has made Germany collect 18 points and displace the Netherlands (16) from the top of the standings as their competitors only played a draw in Northern Ireland (13).

Nevertheless both Germany and the Netherlands are confirmed to be the two teams from Group C that has secured one ticket to the 2020 European Cup finals, while Northern Ireland and Belarus had the opportunity to qualify through the playoffs.

Four minutes before the end of the first half, Ginter took Germany ahead of Belarus by making a swivel shot to complete a pass from Serge Gnabry.

Goretzka’s advantage was doubled four minutes into the second half by grabbing a corner ball sent from Kroos to the edge of the penalty box. Ginter, who was seen first welcoming the ball, did a trick to give Goretzka a hard shot to sink the ball into the bottom left corner of the goal.

Kroos then added to Germany’s advantage in the 55th minute with a curling shot that did not give the goalkeeper, Aleksandr Gutor, an opportunity to save.

Kroos scored his second goal by deceiving the keeper after receiving a pass from Ilkay Guendogan before thrashing the ball into the bottom right corner of the goal in the 83rd minute to complete Germanys victory to 4-0.
