DBasia.news – Spanish midfielder, Denis Suarez believes his thigh injury is a major factor in his failure to defend Arsenal last season. According to the 26-year-old midfielder, the injury made him unfit while in North London.

Last season, Suarez landed at Arsenal on loan for six months. However, Suarez failed to make a meaningful impact after only being able to collect six appearances in all competitions.

“I am playing the inaugural party against Manchester City. Ten days ago, I suffered an injury against BATE in the Europa League. “I hurt thigh badly,” Denis Suarez told The Athletic.

“I always feel pain when running, passing, and shooting balls. I experienced a very difficult situation. While at Arsenal, my fitness condition was never more than 30%, “Suarez continued.

Furthermore, Suarez was disappointed as he failed to shine in North London. The 26-year-old player claimed to have rejected offers from many clubs to be able to play at Arsenal.

“Actually, I refused the proposal of several clubs such as Real Betis, Sevilla and AC Milan. I could have signed a long-term contract with the three clubs. “It shows how much I want to play at Arsenal,” concluded Denis Suarez.

After failing with Arsenal, Suarez decided to return to Spain and play at Celta Vigo. This season, Suarez managed to collect 20 appearances with Celta Vigo.
