Los Blancos Spent Rp. 1 Trillion to Build a Future Squad

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Spanish giant club, Real Madrid, has spent a lot of money to shop for players. Of course the players brought to the Santiago Bernabeu are not ordinary players. The club, which was coached by Zinadine Zidane, is apparently aiming for quality and experienced players for the short, medium and future. The new name that was recruited by the club is Reinier.

As reported by the official website of Real Madrid, the club brought 18-year-old midfielder from Flamengo for 35 million euros with a six-year contract (2026). Reinier, like Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo, will begin the adaptation process at Raul Gonzalez’s Real Madrid Castilla.

Real Madrid used the same tactic when recruiting Vinicius and Rodrygo when they were 18 years old. This was done to avoid significant price increases because of the talent they have. Madrid makes Reinier cheaper than the predicted price of 70 million euros.

Together with Flamengo, Reinier, nicknamed The Next Kaka, has helped Jorge Jesus’ team win the Copa Libertadores and fight Liverpool in the final of the Inter-Club World Cup. This season Reinier appeared eight times and scored six goals and provided two assists.

Reinier, in his interview session with Marca, admitted that he had watched Real Madrid for a long time with his father. He can’t wait to meet two Real Madrid legends, Raul and ZInedine Zidane (coach of Real Madrid).

“Real Madrid is the greatest. When I was young, I watched Real Madrid and Galacticos matches with my father. I fell in love with Real Madrid and since then I have loved them,” Reinier told Marca.

“The four (titles) of the Champions League they won in the last few years have made me happy and pride is hard to explain,” he continued.

“(Reinier wants to meet with) Everyone! (In Madrid) Because they are impressive coaches and players. Knowing that I will be able to meet Raul and Zidane is extraordinary. They are two football legends and Real Madrid,” he said.

Reinier’s arrival means that Real Madrid has spent a total of 132 million euros or around Rp 1 trillion to form a future squad, regenerate the current squad, or rather recruit players who have the potential to become stars in the future.

Reinier, for one, was bought for 30 million euros. While the rest are Marco Asensio (four million euros), Martin Odegaard (three million euros), Vinicius Junior (45 million euros), Rodrygo Goes (50 million euros), and Takefusa Kubo (free). The average player price is around 22 million euros.

June Calafat and his talent scout team at Real Madrid have worked well in preparing for the future squad. At present the public is only waiting for their development. Asensio has been injured, but Real Madrid has been an important player in the last few seasons. Takefusa Kubo and Martin Odegaard are on loan at other clubs, while Vinicius and Rodrygo are played by Zinedine Zidane in Real Madrid’s main squad.
