Diego Simeone Praises the Struggle of Atletico Madrid Players
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Atletico Madrid coach, Diego Simeone, applauded the players’ fighting spirit and says his team is worthy of sharing points with Juventus.
“We lost something in the first half and Juve increased in intensity after the break, but I like the fact that we never gave up and fought for better results,” Simeone stated.
“We always try to create a situation where we can hurt Juve. Jose Gimenez is close, as well as Vitolo and Angel Correa, so this is more than worthy one point.”
“I don’t see this draw as a good or bad result. Juve is a very strong team with a lot of experience and has an average age of 29 compared to us who are only 24,” added the coach.
“Experience helps at this level and that’s why matches like this can help us mature for what awaits in the future.”
“The most important thing is not to lose intensity during the match and maintain confidence in our character,” he concluded.
