Don’t Slip Again, Bayern Munich!
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Former German national team goalkeeper Oliver Kahn hopes his former club Bayern Munchen will not slip again in Bundesliga matches. He hopes Hans-Dieter Flick’s squad will continue to focus on the matches to be played.
Kahn said that Bayern Munich’s squad could never slip again if they want to win the title at the end of the season.
“We have to keep our level because every game is very important. In the Bundesliga, we should not slip even once if we want to win the title for the eighth time in a row,” Kahn said as reported by Sport1, Saturday (07/03).
In the Bundesliga standings, Hansi Flick’s squad are currently still at the top of the standings. But their points are only three points away of the second place, RB Leipzig and four points from Borussia Dortmund in third.
Kahn, who is currently a member of the club’s board of directors, also asked players to maintain focus and concentration in the Champions League. Kahn did not deny if Bayern had a big chance to win the Champions League as well.
He said that the great pressure for Robert Lewandowski and squad in this season to close the end of the season with the title must be able to be managed properly.
The pressure said Kahn will actually help Bayern Munich’s squad to go further in the Champions League or in the German Bundesliga.
Bayern Munich has a great chance to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League. In the first leg of the last 16, Bayern were able to win 3-0 over Chelsea in an away match.
