El Tigre Might Return to Atletico Madrid
By news-admin
El Tigre
DBasia.news – There was an interesting view of the 5th match of Group A Champions League. AS Monaco got defeated 0-2 at Atletico Madrid home and in that match, Radamel Falcao got a warm welcome after Thierry Henry sent him at 55′.
No wonder, Falcao was the former Atletico player in 2011-2013. El Tigre’s career with Diego Simeone squad went well after he helped Los Rojiblancos to achieve the victory title like Europa League, Copa del Rey, and UEFA Super Cup.
In the meantime, Falcao is trying to revive Los Monegasque performance in the relegation zone of Ligue 1 with 19th position. However, the 32-year-old player is also thinking about his future. As a matter of fact, El Tigre’s contract with Monaco would end in 2020.
Considering that issue, Falcao possibly returns to Los Rojiblancos if he decides to leave Los Monegasque.
“We never know in the future. Obviously, Atletico Madrid will always be in my heart. I don’t know, maybe once my contract at Monaco finished,” Falcao said reported by FourFourTwo.
“I don’t know what will happen. I am always supporting Atletico Madrid,” he concluded.
Considering Falcao is turning 34 when his contract ends in Monaco, it seems like Simeone won’t be interested to sign him. Furthermore, Atletico already have their prominent striker, Diego Costa.
