England National Team Defeats Kosovo, Harry Kane Sets a new record
By db-admin
DBasia.news – In the match of England’s victory over Kosovo, 26-year-old England national team striker, Harry Kane, managed to set his latest record. When the England national team successfully conquered Kosovo with four goals on Monday (11/18), Kane’s goal in this match at the same time has made him always break the opponent’s goal in the European Cup Qualifying 2020 match.
The note is a new record. Harry Kane was the first player to score in all European Cup Qualifying matches with England. Before him, no Three Lions player could do so. Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen were no exception.
In addition, throughout history, Harry Kane is also the third player to score in eight European Cup Qualifying matches. The other two players who first did so were Zlatko Zahovic and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Zahovic did it with the Slovenian national team in the 2000 European Cup Qualifiers. Meanwhile, Ibrahimovic was with the Swedish national team in the European Cup Qualifiers 2016. The difference is, they needed a play-off match to complete the incision in eight matches.
Besides always scoring goals in all of the 2020 European Cup Qualifiers played by the English national team, there is another record made by Harry Kane. A total of 12 goals in a year has made him equal to George Hilsdon in 1908 and Dixie Dean in 1927.
Throughout 2019, Harry Kane was absent in ten matches played by the
England national team. He recorded only failing to score a goal in the
semifinals and the third place race for the UEFA Nations League.
