Eto’o believes Sarri has changed since Coaching Juventus and Chelsea
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Former Barcelona player, Samuel Eto’o, thinks Juventus manager, Maurizio Sarri, has changed since he coached Chelsea and Juventus. According to him the game that the manager uses is of no value.
“In reality, the coach I saw at Empoli is very different from what I saw at Chelsea and Juventus at the moment. I see Empoli playing, it is a team that plays with personality. “They play from behind and the goalkeeper also plays with the ball,” Eto’o told Sky Sport Italia, Tuesday (25/02).
“That’s why their game is beautiful. Today I watched Juve and I don’t know, they have Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala. But I did not see the coach I had seen in Empoli before. Something is missing there. He has changed, “he added.
As is known, Maurizio Sarri has began to be known when he handled Empoli in 2012. There, his name continued to skyrocket until finally able to train Napoli three years later.
During the course of Empoli and Napoli, the 61-year-old coach was known as a coach who dared to break the Italian-style catenaccio tradition. He appeared in an attacking style of play which came to be known as Sarriball.
That success also finally brought Sarri to Chelsea. And this season the Napoli-born coach returns to Italy to coach the defending champion Juventus.
