European Super Agent, Mino Raiola Wins Prestigious Award

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  One of Europe’s super agents, Mino Raiola won an award in the Netherlands as the most influential man in the world of football. However, after receiving the award, Raiola has become the public satire.

As reported by Football-Italy, Raiola was chosen as the winner of the most influential Dutch men’s award in the world of football. The name of the 52-year-old man is in the top 50 figures from the Netherlands in Voetbal International.

Raiola ranks first above Dutch national team coach, Ronald Koeman, and Barcelona icon and legend, Johan Cruyff. Players such as Frenkie de Jong, Hakim Ziyech, and Virgil van Dijk are also in the top 50.

The list is determined by a jury consisting of experts in their respective fields. Raiola received it as he is also Dutch. Descended and born in Italy from Italian parents, Raiola grew up in the Netherlands since he was an infant.

Raiola is one of Europe’s leading agents who has many top players as clients such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, Matthijs de Light, and Gianluigi Donnarumma. The award did not make him conceited.

“Cruyff is an icon, not me. His ideas about football still resonate with all his admirers around the world,” Raiola told Voetbal International.

“Being the first in this election did make me quite proud, as it took a while for the public to understand me.”

“I also have to say besides winning, it’s also fun that people finally see me as a Dutch and not an Italian anymore,” concluded Raiola.
