Fabio Capello: Romelu Lukaku is not a World Class Striker

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Inter Milan striker, Romelu Lukaku, is not considered a world-class striker. This was stated by former Juventus coach, Fabio Capello.

Lukaku, 26, moved from Manchester United to Inter this summer with a tag of 80 million euros. So far his performance was adequate through two goals when he helped Inter win 4-0 against Lecce and 2-1 against Cagliari.

Lukaku scored one penalty and one against Cagliari when grabbing the rebound from the keeper.

“Lukaku is a good player with good moves. He has scored two goals, one penalty and another was a mistake from the goalkeeper. He is useful in matches, but he is not a (world class) striker,” Capello told Radio Deejay.

Besides discussing Lukaku, Capello also spoke about Alexis Sanchez, a striker who was also recruited from United but on loan. The 73-year-old coach sees Sanchez could be a match differentiator at the speed he has.

“Sanchez has the quality and also he can be a differentiator in several areas if he wants. Just like what Franck Ribery did at Fiorentina when he came on the bench against Napoli, he could use his speed,” added Capello.

In the next match, Inter will host Udinese in the third week of Serie A on Sunday (9/15) AM. Udinese defeated AC Milan in the first match with the score 1-0.
