By db-admin
DBasia.news – AS Monaco midfielder, Cesc Fabregas, said he was sure his best friend, Lionel Messi, would not move and would retire in Barcelona.
Lately, it was widely reported that Messi would not choose to retire in Barcelona. Before completing his football career, he intends to contribute his energy in other clubs.
Inter Milan and Newell’s Old Boys are two clubs that are often linked with the Argentine legion. However, the news had all been denied by Messi.
“I talked to Messi and the idea is always to end his career at Barcelona. “A lot of things can happen at the club, but I am fully convinced that his career will end at Barca,” Fabregas told Cadena Cope.
Lionel Messi strongly denied the allegation of him moving to Inter Milan and pay for Ronaldinho’s parole as reported by TNS Sports.
Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have dominated football for the past decade. Fabregas believes his second era will end. He considered the prospective successor of the two of them was Kylian Mbappe.
“Cristiano is 35 years old and Leo will be 33 years old, they are getting older. I will recruit Mbappe, for his youth, talent, commitment, and mentality. I will recruit him in his peak for the next 10 years. “
“Then there are players like Neymar or Erling Haaland, but in terms of talent, scoring ability and speed, Mbappe is a player who reminds me of Thierry Henry. I watched him from afar and it was thrilling how he pursued a long pass, “Fabregas added.
Messi himself has scored 627 goals with Azulgrana. The amount has been
inscribed in 718 appearances in all competitions. These records has made Messi
the all time top scorer of Barcelona.
