Fernandinho Rates Liverpool’s Distance Is Too Far

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Manchester City midfielder from Brazil, Fernandinho, stated that his club is now concentrating on overtaking Leicester in second place rather than targeting Liverpool at the top.

At the start of the season, the 2019/20 English Premier League trophy is expected to be a struggle for two clubs, City and Liverpool, but Pep Guardiola’s team now seems to have difficulty to win the English title three seasons in a row.

“It’s been challenging, extremely tough for us,” Fernandinho stated.

“I’m not thinking about Liverpool. They are so far away. First, we must think of Leicester (second place). “

“Liverpool are excited because they haven’t won this trophy for a while. They are starting to feel it now.”

Fernandinho this season is more often played as a central defender by Guardiola.

The lack of depth of the squad is considered to be the cause of the decline in the performance of The Citizen this season.
