Fiorentina manager says there are no plans to fire Vincenzo Montella

DBasia.news –  Although Fiorentina rarely won, Fiorentina manager Joe Barrone said the team leaders still had full faith in Vincenzo Montella. Barrone also claimed in the near future he did not plan to fire Montella.

Under the tutelage of Montella, Fiorentina had difficulty appearing consistent. Currently, Federico Chiesa cs is still stuck in the 10th position with a collection of 16 points from 13 parties.

In recent weeks, Fiorentina’s performance with Montella has even declined. Currently, they failed to win in the last four matches. They last won the party against Sassuolo at the end of last October.

In addition to discussing the future of Montella, Barrone also mentioned the contract extension from Federico Chiesa. He also admitted that the extension of the Chiesa contract was not a top priority for Fiorentina this season.

“Federico Chiesa is one of the mainstay players of Fiorentina. He is still under contract with us for the next two years. At the moment, our focus is to restore Chiesa’s condition ahead of the weekend match. Not extending the contract,” said Barrone.
