DBasia.news –  Ramon Calderon, former President of Real Madrid, assessed the share of Florentino Perez, the latest President of Madrid, behind the hot ties of Zinedine Zidane and Gareth Bale.

Perez chose to sell Cristiano Ronaldo last season rather than Bale. Calderon thinks Zidane wants Madrid to sell Bale, not Ronaldo. That is what caused Zidane to resign from the Madrid coaching chair in his first period.

However, when he returned to training in the second period, Bale was still in Madrid and both hot relations continued to this day. Bale did not try to learn Spanish and isolate himself. While Zidane did not put it in the play plan.

“Zidane wants to keep Cristiano Ronaldo and sell Bale, but the President did not listen to his advice. That is why he left the club. He is back because he has been promised Bale will not be there,” Calderon said, quoted from Sport-English.

Perez’s decision to release Ronaldo to Juventus and defend Bale was the beginning of the heat of Zidane’s relationship with Bale.

“No one knows how this problem will be resolved because Zidane and Florentino have completely different opinions. The greatest Bale recruits and he (Perez) do not accept that he was wrong when he thought (Bale) could lead the team after Cristiano’s departure,” Calderon added.

“It can’t be held back by everything: for players, coaches, and clubs. Zidane doesn’t want it anymore. The best solution is to find a new team.”

Calderon assessed the best solution at this time was to help Bale find a new club.

“Last season, Madrid received an offer of 100 million euros for Bale but the President refused. Now, the best option to borrow it, but he has a big salary and the club will prefer to sell it,” Calderon explained.
