Four Players Punished, Here Is Persija’s Response

DBasia.news – The assembly result on October 1st, PSSI Disciplinary Committee decided to punish four Persija Jakarta players related to the match against Persib Bandung.

The four players are Riko Simanjuntak, Sandi Sute, Ismed Sofyan, and Renan Da Silva. Riko just got a warning due to the argument with the opponent when Persija Jakarta played against Persib Bandung.

Sandi Sute and Ismed Sofyan got banned from the match for three times, each due to dropping and kicking the opponents. Meanwhile, Renan Silva is banned from two matches due to another foul.

By their manager, Marsekal Madya Ardhi Tjahjoko, Persija responded to the punishment by PSSI Disciplinary Committee.

“Personally as the manager of Persija, I accept that my players did any fouls, but most noteworthy, it should be consistent. The regulation should be applied with no exception. Once again, if they are deserved to be punished, no problem,” Ardhi Thahjoko said in Persija’s official website.

“Besides, I won’t give any appeal considering the lesson. If they acted violated the regulation, they deserved to be punished. That’s what I think,” he added.

He stated that despite the disturbance in Persija Jakarta’s power. Moreover, Andritany Ardhiyasa and Rezaldi Hehanussa will support Indonesia national team in the friendly matches against Myanmar, Wednesday (10/10) and Hong Kong (16/10).

“The coach will have the solution despite the decreasing squad. We have many options, not just one. Like Andritany, he has two goalkeeper options. Bule and Ismed as well. So it won’t be a problem,” Ardhi continued.
