DBasia.news –  The defeat with a score of 1-2 from Lazio, Sunday (27/10), has made Fiorentina forward, Franck Ribery protested greatly by pushing a linesman. Based on the Italian League Series A Disciplinary Committee’s decision, Ribery had to be suspended for three matches as a result of his actions.

Video footage shows the 36-year-old player, who was replaced in the 74th minute, protested greatly against match officials after the final whistle sounded, as Fiorentina questioned Lazio’s winning goal. He then pushed one of the linesman before being detained by his team mate and received a red card.

Describing Ribery’s behavior as “disrespectful”, the Serie A disciplinary court stated on Monday that Ribery had approached the linesman with “threatening behavior” and pushed him twice.

Earlier, Ribery who was also fined 20,000 euros (22,196 US dollars) – apologized on Twitter for his behavior, and said that he felt chaotic after the controversial ended.

Fiorentina stressed that in the process until Lazio’s goal in the 89th minute there was a violation by Jordan Lukaku on Riccardo Sotil and they were confused on why the referee did not review the incident on the monitor on the sidelines and only relied on information from VAR officers.
