Giovani Lo Celso Replaces Christian Eriksen at Tottenham

Harry Winks, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, has not worried about the departure of Christian Eriksen. For Winks, Spurs already has Christian Eriksen’s replacement, Giovani Lo Celso.

In the last few weeks, Lo Celso has successfully shown remarkable performances with Tottenham. The Argentinian was already a key player in North London despite suffering from injuries at the start of last season.

“Yes, we have quite a lot of quality midfielders at the moment. There is quite a competitive competition in the midfield position. There are many players who certainly want to play, “said Harry Winks when asked about Lo Celso’s ability to replace Eriksen.

 “He (Giovani Lo Celso) is an extraordinary player. In addition, he is also a player who should be able to make supporters feel happy. I’m sure he still hasn’t shown his true abilities here, “added Winks.

Despite already having Lo Celso, Tottenham are still trying to find a replacement for Eriksen in the winter transfer market. Most recently, they were linked with the young Dutch national team midfielder, Steven Bergwijn, who now plays at PSV Eindhoven.

Previously, Tottenham had also officially brought in Gedson Fernandes from Portuguese giants, Sporting CP. Fernandes moved to North London on loan for 18 months plus a permanent option with a tag of 65 million Euros.
